SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a subsidiary of Kibing Group, one of China's largest glass manufacturers and a leading player in the global photovoltaic glass industry. The company has established a major photovoltaic glass manufacturing base in Sabah, Malaysia, as part of its international expansion strategy.
The Sabah manufacturing facility is located in the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) and represents a significant investment in Malaysia's renewable energy supply chain. The group's first RM2.5 billion facility in KKIP began full production in 2024.
The project's first 1,200 tons/day photovoltaic glass production line commenced operation on February 17, 2024, with additional lines under construction. The plant produces ultra-clear solar glass panels, a critical component in photovoltaic technology.
In 2025, Anhui Tiankang Group was selected as the cable supplier for this facility, providing low-voltage power and control cables under a framework agreement established in August 2024, with the first purchase order confirmed in March 2025.
