
On March 9, the 9th Member Congress of China Instrument Manufacturers Association was solemnly held in Chongqing. Leaders including Wang Hong, Deputy Director of the First Department of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Zhang Wenhong, Deputy Party Secretary of China Machinery Industry Federation, attended the congress. Member representatives from all over the country gathered to discuss strategies for the development of the industry.
In his speech, Deputy Director Wang Hong of the First Department of Equipment Industry of MIIT stated that China’s instrumentation industry has achieved remarkable development at present, facing major development opportunities as well as severe challenges in the future. He fully affirmed the fruitful work done by China Instrument Manufacturers Association in implementing industrial policies and reflecting industry demands, and expressed earnest expectations for the Association to play a greater role and make greater contributions in promoting the high-quality development of the instrumentation industry.
Tan Li, Deputy Director of the Party Work Department of China Machinery Industry Federation, read out the approval document from the Second Bureau of the Central Social Work Department.
The congress heard and deliberated and adopted the work report of the 8th Council, the report on financial revenue and expenditure, and the work report of the Supervisory Board. It deliberated and voted by show of hands to adopt the Election and Appointment Measures for the 9th Member Congress and the 1st Session of the 9th Council, the Proposed List of Chief Scrutineer, Scrutineers and Tellers for the 9th Member Congress and the 1st Session of the 9th Council, as well as the Measures for the Administration of Honorary Titles of China Instrument Manufacturers Association and the Bill on Establishing the Post of Honorary Chairman. It voted to adopt the draft revised Articles of Association and the draft revised Membership Dues Payment Standards and Administration Measures.
The congress elected the directors and supervisors of the 9th Council. At the 1st Session of the 9th Council, the principals of the 9th Council were elected by equal-number voting.
Chongqing Chuanyi Automation Co., Ltd. was elected as the Chairman Unit of the 9th Council;
Comrade Wu Zhengguo was elected Chairman of the 9th Council;
Comrade Miao Changxing, Comrade Li Yueguang and another 27 persons were elected Vice Chairmen of the 9th Council;
Comrade Cheng Hong was elected Secretary-General of the 9th Council.
Mao Wenzhang, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Anhui Tiankang Group, was elected Vice Chairman of the 9th Council of China Instrument Manufacturers Association.
Zhang Wenhong, Deputy Party Secretary of China Machinery Industry Federation, held a collective talk with the newly elected principals, conveying the important spirits of the Party Central Committee and the Central Social Work Department. He put forward three earnest expectations for the new council:
First, take a clear political stance to ensure the industry develops without deviating from the correct direction;
Second, unite with one heart and one mind to gather forces from all sides and jointly draw a “concentric circle” for industry development;
Third, strengthen internal capacity to become pioneers in serving the high-quality development of the industry.
He also required all principals to effectively enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, continuously improve their performance capabilities, and lead the industry toward a new journey.
The successful convening of this congress has injected new vitality into China’s instrumentation industry. The election of General Manager Mao as Vice Chairman of the 9th Council of China Instrument Manufacturers Association fully demonstrates the important status of Anhui Tiankang Group as a key enterprise in the industry in promoting industrial development. Taking this opportunity, Anhui Tiankang Group will continue to deeply engage in the instrumentation field, work with industry counterparts to jointly promote industrial technological progress, transformation and upgrading, and contribute greater efforts to the prosperity and development of China’s instrumentation cause.
